Procurement Policy Update
The Greer Housing Authority (GHA) hereby provides public notice that the GHA Board of Commissioners reviewed and approved revisions to the GHA Procurement Policy during its Board meeting held on May 11, 2026, contingent upon completion of the required public notification process.
The Procurement Policy revisions were made to ensure compliance with updated procurement requirements issued by the US. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Federal Uniform Guidance regulations under 2 CFR Part 200, and other applicable Federal requirements.
The approved revisions include updates regarding:
- Federal procurement thresholds
- Micro-purchase procedures
- Section 3 compliance requirements
- Electronic procurement procedures
- Suspension and debarment verification requirements
- Domestic preference requirements for federally funded projects
- Record retention and documentation standards
- Cost and price analysis requirements
The updated policy is intended to ensure continued compliance with Federal procurement standards and promote transparency, competition, accountability, and efficient use of public funds.
